Lanesville Community School Library Endowment

The Harrison County Community Foundation (HCCF) created a unique investment opportunity for the future of the Lanesville Elementary and Jr./Sr. High School Libraries. The Foundation created an endowment for each library in April 2006. The endowments will supplement the current library budget each year with the annual interest. To establish the endowment, Lanesville Schools contributed an initial $5,000 per library into this fund. The foundation matched that donation with $10,000 per school. Each additional $100.00 you donate will be matched with $100.00 from the foundation.

Please send your generous donation, made payable to HCCF, mailed directly to the Foundation, PO Box 279, Corydon, IN 47112. Please note in the memo section of your check that the donation is for Lanesville School Library. Your donation will be divided equally between the elementary and high school endowment, unless you specified differently. If your employer has a charity matching grant program, please ask them to match your generous donation to our endowment. Your donation will be acknowledged with a charitable contribution donation letter for tax purposes.

These endowments are open to annual contributions, including bequests, to which the foundation will match dollar for dollar. As our endowments grow, so does our grantmaking interest to enrich our collection each year. Thank you for your ongoing support of our libraries.
