Journal Entries Evaluation


Below are a list of the guidelines for students to consider as they prepare for their journal entries.  In addition, the following rubric will be used to evaluate each individual journal entry.

Meets assignment requirements entry follows correct format, meets length requirement, adheres to topic entry may follow correct format, may meet length requirement, may adhere to topic entry does not follow correct format, does not meet length requirement, does not adhere to topic
Content shows evidence of  thought and purpose little evidence of thought or purpose collects little info relating to topic; no thought or purpose
Usage and mechanics conventions are correct most conventions are correct errors may distract from finished project
