Please be aware that if you live outside of our school district completing the online enrollment form is not a guaranteed acceptance to Lanesville Schools.

More information regarding acceptance of an out of district application will take place over the summer. Accepted applicants will be contacted and asked to complete registration which normally opens 2 weeks prior to the first day of school.

Lanesville Community Schools has limited resources and is staffed to provide mild interventions and speech therapy for out of district special education students. Please use the “Comments” section of the enrollment page to communicate information regarding your student’s unique needs and ensure that Lanesville Community Schools are able to service your out of district student. If you have questions regarding the needs or potential needs of your out of district student, please contact the school office directly. 812-952-3000.

Kindergarten (Label everything with child’s name)

    • 2 – Boxes of crayons (24 count or less)
    • Scissors rounded tip
    • School box (plastic) – 8”X5”X2” (small size)
    • 2 – Boxes of Kleenex tissues (to be used by class)
    • 0 – 100 Flash cards (keep at home)
    • Box of washable wide markers in classic colors
    • Sturdy headphones – No Earbuds
    • 1 – Box yellow writing pencils and a block eraser
    • 10 or more glue sticks
    • Backpack large enough to hold: folder, iPad, library books, and extra clothes
    • Rest blanket (about towel size that will roll up) – No Mats
    • 2 – Packages of black dry erase markers (1 wide tip & 1 fine tip
    • 1 – Package of black fine tip dry erase marks
    • 1 – Package of baby wipes
    • 1 Box Ziploc Bags (jumbo, or gallon size) and 1 Box Ziploc Bags (sandwich or snack size)
    • 1 Container of Clorox or Lysol wipes (If available)
