How to Enroll

Thank you for your interest in enrolling at Lanesville Elementary School. Click here to get to the Open Enrollment page. Please make sure to fill out all information to the best of your knowledge.

Please be aware that if you live outside of our school district completing the online enrollment form is not a guaranteed acceptance to Lanesville Schools.

More information regarding acceptance of an out of district application will take place over the summer. Accepted applicatants will be contacted and asked to complete registration which normally opens 2 weeks prior to the first day of school.

Lanesville Community Schools has limited resources and is staffed to provide mild interventions and speech therapy for out of district special education students. Please use the “Comments” section of the enrollment page to communicate information regarding your student’s unique needs and ensure that Lanesville Community Schools are able to service your out of district student. If you have questions regarding the needs or potential needs of your out of district student please contact the school office directly. 812-952-3000.

Kindergarten (Mark everything with your child’s name)

  • Box of crayons (24 count or less)
  • Scissors rounded tip
  • School box (plastic) – 8X5X2 (small size)
  • 2 – Boxes of Kleenex tissues (to be used by class)
  • 0 – 100 Flash cards (for use at home)
  • Box of washable wide markers
  • Sturdy headphones – No Earbuds
  • 2 – #2 yellow writing pencils and a block eraser
  • 6 glue sticks
  • Backpack large enough to hold folder, iPad, library books, and extra clothes
  • Complete extra set of clothes (kept in backpack)
  • Rest blanket (about towel size that will roll up) – No Mats
  • 1 – Package of dry erase markers
